Specifications: This beautiful Espresso finish cedar storage chest will look handsome in any room in the home or office as casual furniture. It’s finished using an expensive and time consuming, many-part process. A premium grade, 3/8" knotty, non-aromatic, western red, cedar plywood is manually stained and sealed in the first step. The best sable stain we can buy is used and allowed to dry 24 hours. After hand sanding to level any raised grain in the wood, we apply 3 coats of super hard water-based polyurethane, once again, carefully hand sanding between each coat. (highly water resistant. We seal the mahogany veneer interior with one coat of polyurethane to provide an even, finished look to the entire piece. Nickel hardware and nickel plated rivets are used for durability and elegance. Steel tongue and groove closure to keep out pests and even dust. Rich and real leather handles for strength and beauty. Old world lockable hasp in nickel made to our specifications with a loop to accept a padlock or wordlock. Three stop hinges and a stay for safety. The Engraved Name Plate is made of a bright metal finish with 1"High x 3"Long in size . The letterings are written in black and can occupy two lines on the plate. The name plate is produced with self sticking adhesive on the back to allow customers to place it anywhere they desire on the trunk.
